Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Archie handles, why we handle it, and the practical choices you have around your data.

Information We Collect
Archie stores the account details you provide, basic workspace metadata, billing state, and the documents you choose to upload so the product can index, search, and answer questions about them.
We also collect operational telemetry such as request logs, product usage counts, and error reports so we can keep the service reliable, secure, and understandable over time.
- Account information such as your name, email address, and authentication identifiers
- Workspace, project, and document metadata including filenames, counts, and processing status
- Uploaded document content and derived data such as chunks, embeddings, and extracted entities
- Usage and reliability data such as request timestamps, browser information, and error diagnostics
How We Use Information
We use your information to operate Archie, process documents, answer your queries, manage billing, prevent abuse, and improve the quality and reliability of the service.
We do not sell your uploaded documents or personal information. We use third-party infrastructure and model providers only to the extent needed to run the product.
Document Processing and Retention
Your uploaded files may be stored, parsed, chunked, embedded, and indexed so Archie can return search results, answers, and citations. Derived records may remain in the system until you delete the underlying content or your workspace is removed.
Guest sessions are more limited than full accounts. Trial content may be retained for a shorter period and may be removed automatically after the guest retention window expires.
Sharing and Service Providers
We share data with service providers that help us host the application, process payments, run authentication, and perform document and language-model operations on our behalf.
Those providers are expected to handle information only for the purpose of delivering the services Archie depends on.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect the information Archie stores. No system can guarantee absolute security, but we work to reduce risk and respond quickly when issues are found.
Your Choices
You can request account changes, remove documents, and close your workspace. If you need help deleting data or understanding what is stored, contact us and we will work with you directly.
